Stayed for 5 nights was small but comfortable and close to transport, just a little too noisy at night to have windows open. A small lift but only from the first floor had to get the luggage up narrow flight of stairs.Enjoyed our stay there looking out onto the busy street from our balcony view. Seems the city that never sleeps. Red light district next to Moulin Rouge, but we never seen anything untoward.

The fact that the hotel room was actually a little studio apartment with a kitchen and living included. It was just opposite the metro. A taxi stand was right infront as well. The Moulin Rouge - an essential Paris experience is just round the corner and there was a lot of buzz and life around the hotel. In a few words - a perfect hotel for a little naughty weekend in Paris.

Florence who met us on arrival was fantastic, any info you need about paris she was the person to ask, room had everything we needed tv,dvd, fridge, microwave etc,was situated right in the heart of the pigalle district--moulin rouge was 50 metres away ! metro across the road, all supermarkets, bars on your doorstep, even tho would say it was a bit of a red light area we felt safe at all times--would use again. Steve/trish,salford.

It is very small but perfectly formed, well equiped kitchen, clean and comfortable I really enjoyed having a radio.
The bathroom is very, very small but does have all you need . a word of warning ,a large person would have a lot of difficulty getting into the shower as the door is barely 35cm wide,if that!

Nice and recently renovated structure in an old building just opposite the underground entrance. Lively neighbourhood with shops opened during extended hours.
Sofabed in the studio was a bit ageing and not very comfortable

Residence Blanche was wonderful. We had a superior apartment and it was great to be close to eateries, shops, supermarkets, Montmartre, & the metro outside the door, Hugo the proprietors son who was looking after the apartments over the holidays was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble, he spoke excellent English and was delightful. Would highly recommend a stay there. Loved the fact that there was an iron too, it was a bonus to be able to press my clothes. Thought the noise from the Moulin Rouge would be an issue but was no bother at all, added to the atmosphere of the place. There was a lift too, small but a treat not having to drag bags up 3 flights. Better than a poky hotel room if staying for several days, can lie in & make your own breakfast. Would certainly stay there again.

Excellent location , near metro , supermarkets, and moulin rouge. Love rue Lepic , ever night we walk along the street to visit Monmatre. Our room is with a small kitchen, very nice with everything! No air conditioner so sometimes feel hot and uncomfortable there. Cause near moulin rouge,it's noisy until midnight everyday ,but I don't mind. I love Residence Blanche, will come back if visit Paris next time.

We arrived at the Residence in the morning after a 32 hour flight and were very grateful the management gave us access to the room at that time. The apartment had a well equipped kitchenette and was nicely furnished. The location was great fun there were restaurants and bars at the front door and only 30 m from the Moulin Rouge. The expected street noise is effectively stopped by closing the window. The noisy bed kept us awake but is easily solved by placing the mattress on the floor and and folding back the divan. Would I recommend Residence Blanche? Maybe but I would also compare it with other properties on offer in Paris.
Management demands you remove the kitchen trash etc from the apartment when you leave. After 3 days we had a bit. This can be done by backing yourself into the lift .An average male can squeeze his shoulders between the lift sides bring one piece of luggage in front of you and place the trash on the top of the luggage, then you will have have room to close the lift door. At first floor leave your luggage and take the trash down the steps to the ground floor out into the strreet and place the trash in the bin under the building. The ceiling fan had a terrible mechanical noise on any speed above low. Be mindful of management conditions in the event of cancellation.

Location was perfect. Cute apartment steps from metro. Good location for grocery stores, walking, coffee shops and restaurants and some tourist sites. Very clean.

This hotel is situated in a perfect place. The subway is just after the road. There are also a lot of different restaurants and supermarkets near (which is quite important, because there is a kitchen in the room). By the way the kitchen is nice, and this is very good, concerning to a very high prices in cafes. Design is also very pleasant

The apartment is in a fabulous location with metro stops close by and Montmatre on the doorstep. It was compact but had everything we required and also gave us the option of self-catering. The reception staff were very helpful and gracious. I'd definitely recommend it.
The neighbourhood is lively in the evenings, so be prepared with some earplugs.

The hotel is in a wonderful location. Photo's of it show it right next to the Moulin Rouge and will be bound to impress your friends. Situated in Montmartre it is everything one imagines of Paris with a wonderful street full of cafes and shops. The Metro was only metres away allowing quick access to the whole of the city though for fit people a walk to the centre was perfectly possible. The street was busy and lively and very comfortable with no security issues, even though situated just off from the sex shops of Paris. If you have a sense of fun and like to do your own thing this is the place for you. Staying here was so much more like living in Paris than just staying in a hotel.
We spent some time checking reviews of this web site of hotels available. Many of the negative ones seemed somewhat fussy to more relaxed travellers like ourselves. The rooms are small, access is difficult, stairs to climb, the lift is small, noisy outside, etc etc.If you want 5 star facilities book into 5 star hotels. This hotel was perfect for us and we have no complaints at all.

Very hospitable and responsive host. Clean rooms. Convenient location.
Tiny lift. Some of the rooms smell cigarette smoke, though the residence has no smoking policy.
